Nightbus

Nightbus will perform on 10 June 2026 at the Pop-up du Label.

Nightbus is a dark, cinematic duo that fuses post-punk, trip-hop and nocturnal electronica to create brooding, hypnotic and deeply personal music. Formed in Manchester in 2023, their sound captures the unsettling beauty of urban life at night: an immersive atmosphere, low-end bass and raw emotional intensity. With haunting vocals, reverb-soaked guitars and minimalist rhythms, they evoke acts like The Knife, Portishead, the early albums of The Cure, Chromatics and The xx, while forging their own distinct universe.

Their early demos caught the attention of label-and-magazine So Young, which released two 45s by the band (one in 2023 and the other in 2024), both of which sold out. The singles were championed by BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, and received praise from The Guardian, NME, The Fader, BrooklynVegan, The Line of Best Fit, Dummy, DIY and Dork.
