Berverly Glenn-Copeland (CA)

Beverly Glenn-Copeland performs his first concert in Denmark on 16 May 2026 at 21h00 at Bellevue Teatret.

With more than five decades of work, he has built a body of music where folk, electronic music, and spiritual traditions meet in stories of community, care, and hope.

Born in Philadelphia and based in Canada, he has over the decades developed a catalogue where folk, meditative electronics, and spiritual reflection come together in compositions. His album Keyboard Fantasies from 1986, created with early drum machines and synthesizers and inspired by nature and science fiction, later gained recognition and is regarded within ambient and experimental music communities around the world. Alongside his musical work, Beverly Glenn-Copeland has for years advocated for trans visibility and dialogue across generations.

This year, he released the album Laughter in Summer (Transgressive Records, 2026), a meditation on love, companionship, aging, and transcendence, created in collaboration with his life partner, Elisabeth Glenn-Copeland. He performs at Bellevue Teatret with his duo.
