Info
On 29 November 2026 at Rescue Rooms in Nottingham, Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats bring their heavy, slow‑burn blend of doom, psych and garage rock, shaped around founder Kevin Starrs. Formed in Cambridge, the band leans on saturated riffs, close‑knit vocal harmonies and a taste for B‑movie atmospheres. From the self‑released Vol. 1 and the breakout Blood Lust to Mind Control, The Night Creeper and Wasteland, their catalogue maps a run of gritty, cinematic stories, pushed further with Nell’ Ora Blu in 2024 and its expanded filmic scope.
Also on the bill, The Wytches deliver a tense, foggy strain of guitar music where garage, surf, psychedelia and post‑punk cross paths. Born in Peterborough and based in Brighton, the group now revolves around Kristian Bell, Daniel Rumsey, Mark Breed and Bhavin Thaker. Early singles Beehive Queen and Robe for Juda led to Annabel Dream Reader and All Your Happy Life, then an independent turn with Three Mile Ditch and Our Guest Can’t Be Named. Recent releases Replica (EP, 2024) and Talking Machine (2025) keep their sound raw and compact, with jagged guitars and a clear melodic pull.
