Info
Jill Andrews brings her folk-rooted, pop-curious songwriting to the Castle Hotel in Manchester on 13 November 2026. First known with the alt-country outfit the everybodyfields, she has since carved a solo path where clear, unguarded lyrics meet melodic craft, and where acoustic intimacy can lean into gleaming indie pop. Along the way she’s co-founded Hush Kids with Nashville songwriter-producer Peter Groenwald, a duo that sharpened her taste for close harmonies and stripped-back arrangements.
Her recent releases sketch the arc of an artist in motion: Thirties (2020) turns everyday stories into quietly resonant songs about parenthood and reshaping a life; Modern Age (2023) opens the window to warmer, nostalgic hues; and the EP Big Feelings (2025) gathers new material with the same plainspoken pull. On stage, Andrews crosses influences with ease, from Joni Mitchell and The Beatles to Gregory Alan Isakov and St. Vincent. Many listeners discovered her through television, with songs heard in Grey’s Anatomy, This Is Us and Nashville, and a theme composed for Wynonna Earp. Live, that narrative streak and sense of melody take the foreground, in a set that spans early favorites and recent cuts.
