DJ Spen takes over the rooftop at Freight Brixton on 20 June 2026 for a summer day session rooted in soulful, gospel-leaning house. Baltimore-born, he first stepped behind the decks at 13, co-founded the hip-hop group Numarx, then became a fixture with the Basement Boys, shaping a style that blends warm club rhythms, deep basslines and standout vocals. In 2012 he launched Quantize Recordings, extending his vision through productions and remixes that move between classic house textures and modern gospel influences.
For this rooftop date, Spen draws across house, gospel and soul with the fluid groove that runs through his sets.
