Mica Millar

Mica Millar plays an in-store live set at Rough Trade East, London, on 8 June 2026, followed by a signing to mark the release of her new album A Little Bit of Me on Golden Hour Music. The Manchester singer, songwriter and producer crafts a contemporary soul sound shaped by jazz, blues and gospel, with a clear focus on vocal harmonies and organic instrumentation. She introduced herself with the self-written, self-produced debut Heaven Knows in 2022, mastered at Abbey Road, exploring themes of human nature, spirituality, love and social inequalities through arrangements influenced by 60s and 70s soul and jazz.

On stage, Millar favours a live, acoustic-leaning setup that highlights the interplay between voice and band. This in-store performance brings the new songs to the foreground while revisiting key tracks from her debut, offering a concise journey through her writing and production.
