Fat Dog (dj set)

Members of South London’s Fat Dog swap the stage for the decks with a DJ set at The Shacklewell Arms in London on 29 May 2026. Formed in 2020 around Joe Love and quickly expanded into a five-piece, the band has built its name on a high-tension blend of post-punk, dance-punk and upfront electronics. Their sound leans on taut synth lines, rave-ready rhythms and a streak of mischief, with sax motifs that flirt with klezmer without losing the drive of the beat.

Signed to Domino in 2023, Fat Dog released King of the Slugs the same year, then All the Same, Running and I Am the King in 2024, leading into their album WOOF. On record and on stage, they push repetition and energy toward the dancefloor; behind the decks, expect them to trace the map of their influences and peers. Think warehouse pulse, punk-funk oddities, leftfield electronics and cuts that echo their own catalogue, stitched together with the urgency that marks their live shows.
