Little Barrie

Little Barrie marks the release of Gravity Freeze with an intimate in-store live set and signing at Rough Trade East on 23 May 2026. Led by guitarist and singer Barrie Cadogan, the band folds garage bite, psych sway and R&B swing into tight, unshowy grooves, where clipped vocals and razor-drawn guitar lines do the talking. Long shaped by a trio mindset, their sound keeps rhythm and melody locked close, leaving just enough air for the riffs to bend and spark.

Gravity Freeze, out via Easy Eye Sound, extends that thread: a British rock backbone meeting grainier American textures, with an ear for space, grit and pulse. On stage, expect the new cuts to rub shoulders with earlier material from We Are Little Barrie, Stand Your Ground, King of the Waves and Shadow, all tied by the same steady thump and clean, sinewy playing. It’s a chance to hear the tracks up close, feel the interplay at street level, then meet the band at the counter for a quick signature before the needle drops again.
