Xandria

Xandria returns to Toulouse on 28 September 2026 at the Rex in Toulouse. Originating in Bielefeld around Marco Heubaum, the band forged a symphonic metal in which melodic guitars, keyboards and wide-ranging orchestrations support a female lead voice. From the dark/alternative beginnings of Kill the Sun, Ravenheart and India to the more massive turn with Neverworld’s End and Sacrificium, the thread remains faithful to somber atmospheres and cinematic songwriting.

Revived in 2022 with singer Ambre Vourvahis, Xandria released The Wonders Still Awaiting in 2023, marking a less operatic and more direct vocal approach. In concert, the band blends classics and new material, with dense choirs and arrangements, solid riffs and heavier passages. It’s an occasion to revisit the melancholic themes that shaped their identity, while appreciating the current momentum of a Xandria refocused on the effectiveness of its compositions and the impact of its rhythm section.
