Leee John, singer, leader and founder of Imagination, the soul‑funk group from the 1980s, will perform for the first time at New Morning on July 22, 2026 at 8:00 PM. This is a chance to hear these staples of popular music performed on a club stage, including Body Talk, So Good So Right, Changes, Flashback, Music and Lights, and Just an Illusion.
The group, with 30 million albums sold and led by Leee John, and the New Morning venue are celebrating their 45th anniversaries.
