A figure of Belgian rap, JeanJass first made his name as part of the duo Caballero & JeanJass, where he brought precise lyrics and finely crafted productions. As a rapper, beatmaker and producer, he has shaped a sonic signature that blends old-school roots, modern trap and electronic touches. As a solo artist he explores a more personal strand—combining measured technique with candid writing—without losing the energy that first brought him attention. After a notable Grünt 71 and his first solo appearance at the Grünt Festival, he continues to release tracks that tell the story of his time and his city, oscillating between self-mockery and a clear-eyed perspective.
On stage, JeanJass places voice, texture and meticulous production front and center, with the distinctive timbre that has established him on the francophone scene. He will perform on 18 March 2027 at Le Cèdre in Chenôve.
