Info
Bleech 9:3 bring their alt‑rock tension and release to Manchester Academy in Manchester on 4 December 2026. Formed between Dublin and Brixton, the four-piece centres on songwriters Barry Quinlan and Sam Duffy, joined by James Quinlan on bass and Luke O’Neill on drums. Their writing leans on clean, precise melodies set against heavy, saturated guitars, building a tight line of pressure that breaks in short bursts. This play of restraint and discharge shapes both the sound and the way the band holds the stage, with a visual, introspective vein running through the set.
Early tracks like Ceiling and Jacky sketched the blueprint: concise hooks cut with grit, inward lyrics, rhythm section locked and lean. On the live circuit they’ve honed that balance through London shows, support slots for Shame and Keo, and a three-night residency at the Blue Basement. For this date, expect a direct, melodic and tense run of songs, arranged to breathe then bite, carried by a compact group dynamic forged in small rooms and sharpened for a bigger space.
