Elder Island bring their fluid mix of electronica and indie pop to KOKO, London on 5 November 2026. Formed in Bristol by vocalist-cellist Katy Sargent with multi-instrumentalists Luke Thornton and David Havard, the trio build songs in layers: supple rhythms, prominent bass, airy synths and a voice that stays at the centre. On stage they sit between live band and club culture, stretching arrangements with loops, percussion and unhurried grooves. After a run of EPs, The Omnitone Collection and Swimming Static mapped their balance of downtempo, indie and light funk touches. The set draws across that catalogue and newer material, shifting from intimate openings to sections built for movement, without losing their detailed, nocturnal feel. Special guests will open.
