Beth Orton brings her folk-electronic blend to Alexandra Palace, London, on 22 October 2026. Since the mid-90s, the Norfolk-born, London-rooted songwriter has woven acoustic guitars, minimal electronics and a smoky, close-mic voice into songs that sit between folk, leftfield pop and downtempo. First heard alongside William Orbit and The Chemical Brothers, she has built a catalogue where organic playing and subtle programming meet.
On stage, Orton leans into space and detail. Expect early standouts from Trailer Park and Central Reservation, tracks from Daybreaker, the stripped-back writing of Comfort of Strangers, and later turns from Sugaring Season and Kidsticks through to Weather Alive. The set balances fingerpicked intimacy, patient grooves and soft synth textures, with her grainy voice up front. At Alexandra Palace, she revisits three decades of material in a live format that keeps the songs clear and close.
