Picture This

Picture This bring their melodic pop-rock to O2 Academy Birmingham on 12 November 2026. Formed in 2015 in Athy, County Kildare, the project started as a home-recording duo with singer Ryan Hennessy and drummer Jimmy Rainsford, then expanded into a four-piece with guitarist Owen Cardiff and bassist Cliff Deane. First noticed online with Take My Hand and a self-titled EP in 2016, the band built a sound that puts Hennessy’s voice up front, leans on clear hooks and steady rhythms, and parleys lyrics about relationships, everyday moments and the doubts that tag along.

Their albums Picture This (2017), MDRN LV (2019), Life in Colour (2021) and Parked Car Conversations (2024) trace a move toward a fuller, pop-forward production while keeping a balance between ballads and more direct mid and uptempo tracks. Live, they switch between tender cuts and punchier songs, with recent material sitting alongside early singles. A set shaped for chorus lines and close-up storytelling, carried by a vocal-first approach and a band that keeps things tight and immediate.
