On 30 May 2026 at Electric Studios in Sheffield, Levellers bring their fiddle-laced folk rock with a punk edge to the stage. Formed in Brighton in the late 80s and named after a 17th‑century movement, the band blends electric guitars, violin and massed vocals into tight, fast rhythms and socially aware lyrics. Expect a set that connects the spark of A Weapon Called the Word and Levelling the Land with later chapters like We the Collective and Peace, porté par des refrains scandés et une énergie collective. Years on the road feed a show that feels direct and communal, where the violin cuts through and the whole room turns chorus.
Jess Silk opens with a lean, acoustic approach. A singer-guitarist rooted in folk, she crafts songs that balance personal storytelling with a clear melodic line. Stripped-back and focused on the words, her set warms the room and sets the tone for Levellers’ amplified charge.
