Info
Blue October bring their alt-rock storytelling to Albert Hall, Manchester on 5 June 2026. Formed in Houston in the mid-90s and long based in Texas, the band led by singer and writer Justin Furstenfeld blends guitars with violin, piano and a pop sense that moves from tension to release. Their path runs from early Texas records The Answers and Consent to Treatment to the wider breakthrough of History for Sale and Foiled, with songs like Hate Me and Into the Ocean marking the 2000s. Since then, they have followed a more intimate thread across Approaching Normal, Any Man in America, Sway, Home, I Hope You’re Happy and This Is What I Live For, leading to the Spinning the Truth Around trilogy (2022-2023).
On stage, the group balances tight rock cuts and slow-burning ballads, with Ryan Delahoussaye’s multi-instrumental lines and the core rhythm section framing Furstenfeld’s confessional vocals. A set that moves across eras, from early tracks to recent releases.
