Laundry Day

Info

Laundry Day bring their New York DIY pop-rock to King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on 19 May 2026. Formed in Manhattan in 2017, the four-piece — Jude Ciulla-Lipkin, Sawyer Nunes, Henry Weingartner and Henry Pearl — write collectively and swap instruments, sculpting a sound that blends close-knit vocal harmonies, indie-pop refrains and hip-hop-tinged phrasing. On stage, that approach translates into fluid arrangements and quick, collage-like shifts that keep the songs moving.

The set mines every phase of their catalog: early self-releases Trumpet Boy and Keep It Bright (2018), Homesick (2019) co-produced with Romil Hemnani of Brockhampton, the shape-shifting We Switched Bodies (2022), the wider pop colors of Younger Than I Was Before (2023), and Earworm (2025). Their path has crossed tours with The 1975, Clairo, Neon Trees and Teezo Touchdown, plus stops at Austin City Limits and Camp Flog Gnaw. Between internet culture and a certain New York sensibility, Laundry Day keep pushing their formula without losing the homemade spark that started it all.
