On 10 July 2026 at Alexandra Park, London, Wet Leg bring their off-kilter indie rock to the park. Formed on the Isle of Wight by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, the duo writes sharp, compact songs where wiry guitars, dry wit and a half-spoken delivery snap into hooks. Since the surge of Chaise Longue and the follow-up Wet Dream, their self-titled debut has set the tone: short blasts, refrains that stick, and lyrics that twist everyday scenes into chantable lines.
On stage, Teasdale and Chambers play with a fuller band, pushing the groove while keeping the duo’s back-and-forth at the center. The set leans on tight rhythms, open chords and sudden breaks that flip from deadpan to shout-along, turning small details into communal moments. It’s indie rock with edges left on and a sense of humor intact, trading guitar bite and repetition for momentum rather than gloss.
