Jack White « Live 2026 »

Jack White returns to the stage at O2 City Hall Newcastle, Newcastle upon Tyne, on 29 August 2026. Born in Detroit and long based in Nashville, he first cut through with The White Stripes, a duo that stripped garage and blues back to riffs, pulse and voice. Since then he has moved between bands and solo work — The Raconteurs, The Dead Weather and a run of albums from Blunderbuss (2012) and Lazaretto (2014) to Boarding House Reach (2018), the twin releases Fear of the Dawn and Entering Heaven Alive (2022), and No Name (2024) — while steering his Third Man Records projects.

On stage he shifts easily from raw electric blues to tight garage songs, with detours through folk, country inflections and a touch of soul. Arrangements stay lean and guitar-led, leaving space for breaks, tempo changes and vocals that snap back against the groove. The set draws a clear line between his early duo material and more recent tracks, reshaping songs without losing their bite. It’s a live format that keeps the focus on the core elements — short forms, abrasive guitars and a direct, blues-rooted energy — across his full catalogue.
