Info
Temples land in Glasgow on 14 November 2026 for a headline show at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut. Formed in 2012 in Kettering, the English band has carved out a distinct space between psych-pop, indie rock and a hint of glam, with songs built on melodic hooks, layered guitars, close harmonies and lush keyboard textures. First driven by the duo of James Bagshaw and Tom Walmsley, the project grew into a quartet with Adam Smith and Sam Toms, sharpening a sound that balances vintage colours and modern punch.
On stage, Temples push their studio finesse toward something tighter and more immediate, where motorik pulses meet chiming guitars and dense arrangements open up into spacious grooves. The set draws across their four albums — from Sun Structures (2014) and Volcano (2017) to Hot Motion (2019) and Exotico (2023) — tracing how their writing has shifted from 60s-tinged psychedelia to broader, more mobile textures without losing the melodic core. Expect a focused, immersive live run-through of their catalogue, with special guests in support, at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, Glasgow.
