McFly headline Lincoln Castle in Lincoln on 14 June 2026. Formed in London in 2003 by Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd, the band first carved out a brisk pop rock sound with pop‑punk and surf pop shades before folding in sleeker, sometimes electronic textures. From Room on the 3rd Floor, Wonderland and Motion in the Ocean to Radio:ACTIVE and Above the Noise, they’ve kept the writing in-house and the live band dynamic at the core. After a pause and the McBusted chapter, McFly returned with The Lost Songs, then Young Dumb Thrills in 2020 and Power to Play in 2023, reconnecting with a direct, guitar-led approach built for big singalongs.
Joining them, Glasgow’s Twin Atlantic bring a punchy alt‑rock streak shaped by power pop, emo-leaning hooks and indie rock immediacy. Emerging with early releases A Guidance from Colour and Vivarium, they widened their reach on Free, Great Divide and GLA, then pushed toward a bolder, more modern edge on Power and Transparency. Their 2024 album Meltdown sharpens the guitars while keeping the melodies upfront. The core lineup centers on Sam McTrusty and Ross McNae, with Joe Lazarus on drums.
