Info
On 3 December 2026 at Swansea Arena, Ocean Colour Scene returns with a set shaped by three decades of songwriting that blends britpop, blues rock and a clear mod lineage. Formed in Birmingham in 1989 around Simon Fowler, Steve Cradock and Oscar Harrison, the band moved from early baggy and indie roots to a more direct, melodic rock. Their mid-90s run with Moseley Shoals, Marchin’ Already and One from the Modern fixed their signature: crisp guitars, tuneful choruses and supple grooves, forged on stage alongside Paul Weller and during tours with Oasis. The later albums, from Mechanical Wonder to Painting, extended the line with concise songs and a discreet psychedelic tint — the backbone of a live show built across years of UK touring.
Joining them, The Enemy brings the taut energy of Coventry’s indie rock scene. Formed in 2006 by Tom Clarke, Andy Hopkins and Liam Watts, the trio writes short, sharp tracks fed by alternative and punk impulses, with guitars up front and lyrics rooted in everyday life. After four albums between 2007 and 2015 and a pause in 2016, they reunited in 2022 for a run of UK dates and festival stages, carrying a catalogue that moves from We’ll Live and Die in These Towns to It’s Automatic.
