Teenage Fanclub play P J Molloy & Sons in Dunfermline on 17 September 2026. Formed in Bellshill near Glasgow in 1989, the band shaped a blend of overdriven guitars, clear melodies and close harmonies that sits between power pop, jangle and alternative rock. With Norman Blake and Raymond McGinley at the core, their writing favors measured tempos, interlaced guitar lines and shared vocals.
The set can span the early raw contours of A Catholic Education and the more structured writing of Bandwagonesque, Thirteen, Grand Prix and Songs from Northern Britain, then move through Howdy!, Man-Made, Shadows and Here. Since Gerard Love’s departure in 2018, the group has continued with Endless Arcade and Nothing Lasts Forever, keeping a melodic, restrained approach. On stage, expect songs that breathe, chiming riffs and steady refrains, drawing on more than three decades of material without rushing the pace.
