Info
Beth Hart brings her blend of blues rock, soul, jazz and gospel to Usher Hall, Edinburgh, on 16 May 2026. Born in Los Angeles, she cut her teeth in California clubs before releasing Immortal with the Beth Hart Band in 1996, then pushed her own songwriting on Screamin’ for My Supper in 1999. The piano has been central to her path ever since, shaping albums like Leave the Light On (2003), 37 Days (2007) and My California (2010), where intimate ballads sit alongside more direct rock cuts.
In the 2010s she teamed up with guitarist Joe Bonamassa for soul and blues covers on Don’t Explain (2011), Seesaw (2013) and Black Coffee (2018), while continuing a solo run with Bang Bang Boom Boom (2012), Better Than Home (2015), Fire on the Floor (2016), War in My Mind (2019) and A Tribute to Led Zeppelin (2022). On stage, her raw, expressive voice and unadorned melodies carry lyrics that face vulnerability and relationships head on.
At Usher Hall, expect a set that moves between piano-led confessions and tougher blues rock, drawing across her catalogue, from early breakthroughs to the Zeppelin homage, with space for the soul-blues repertoire shaped with Bonamassa. The focus stays on the grain of the voice, the pulse of the piano and a band dynamic built for contrast and tension.
