Info

Edinburgh Summer Sessions – Heather on the Hill brings a folk-pop-leaning lineup to the Royal Highland Centre in Ingliston on 22 August 2026.

Cian Ducrot, raised near Cork and trained in classical music before turning to songwriting, delivers piano-led pop centered on the voice, ranging from ballads to direct choruses. After Victory in 2023, his second album Little Dreaming in 2025 confirmed melodic, personal songwriting, driven by tracks such as All for You and I’ll Be Waiting.

Nathan Evans arrives with his Scottish roots and the turn that took him from sea shanties to his own compositions. Propelled by Wellerman, he now weaves modern folk, British pop and Celtic touches, from Told You So to Ring Ding (A Scotsman’s Story), between acoustic guitars and contemporary production.

London is home to Rose Betts’s world, a singer-songwriter who brings pop, folk and highly narrative writing into dialogue. Supported by a clear voice and spare melodies, she released White Orchids in 2022 and There Is No Ship in 2025, while also delivering notable songs such as Driving Myself Home and Irish Eyes.

NATI., aka Natalie Galloway and formerly known as Nati Dreddd, represents a Scottish singer-songwriter strand, with a taste for direct, intimate songs.
