The Streets

The Streets returns with Mike Skinner at the helm, bringing his sharp-eyed storytelling and club-bred beats to Dreamland Margate on 26 June 2026. Since the early 2000s, Skinner has turned everyday scenes into tight, melodic narratives, drawing on UK garage, rap and electronica to sketch a very British cityscape. Tracks like Dry Your Eyes, Fit But You Know It and Blinded by the Lights still hit a nerve, carried by that spoken-sung delivery and a knack for hooks that stick.

On stage, The Streets moves between confessional snapshots and dancefloor energy, shifting from reflective keys to punchy basslines in a breath. The later chapters, from Everything Is Borrowed and Computers and Blues to 2023’s The Darker the Shadow the Brighter the Light, broaden the palette without losing the direct, conversational tone at the core of the project. Expect a set that threads early anthems with newer cuts, the crowd locked into Skinner’s cadence and the ebb and flow of beats built for movement. Dreamland Margate, Margate. 26 June 2026.
