Summit Soul featuring Alex Charles presents Motown, soul, and funk. Alex Charles, formerly of the Grammy-winning funk band Heatwave (Boogie Nights, Always and Forever), was the lead singer on the 80s track "Funky Sensation" with Ladies Choice and recorded "So Beautiful" with DJ Innocence. With his band, he performs classics by Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Prince, Jimmy Cliff, Nat King Cole, Elvis, and Little Richard, along with his gospel originals.
The set includes tracks by Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Heatwave, The Jackson 5, and more.
