Info
On 1 October 2026 at Manchester Academy in Manchester, Unprocessed brings its modern take on progressive metal to the stage. Formed in Wiesbaden, the band steers between djent precision, technical rock and a more melodic streak. Led by guitarist and singer Manuel Gardner Fernandes, their sound pivots on polyrhythms, sharp, syncopated riffs and detailed textures, then opens into spacious passages carried by clear vocals. From Covenant and Artificial Void to the more hybrid Gold (2023), they weave discreet electronic touches and pop/R&B inflections into dense, metric games. Live, that balance turns into elastic grooves, angular tempos and hooks that cut through the layers without smoothing the edges.
Sharing the bill, Of Virtue adds a direct, melodic strain of American metalcore. The Lansing quartet builds on thick guitars, firm rhythms and the back-and-forth between clean lines and rougher vocals, with an alternative metal sensibility shaping the choruses. After Heartsounds and Salvation, the band tightened its writing on What Defines You, then pushed a concise, impact-first approach on the Sinner EP and Omen (2023). Expect tight breakdowns, driving beats and choruses built to carry, a clear counterpoint to Unprocessed’s intricate turns.
