Info
Black Stone Cherry land at Music Hall, Aberdeen, on 1 November 2026 with a hard rock set nourished by Kentucky roots and a sharp ear for melody. Formed in 2001 and driven by Chris Robertson (chant, guitare) et Ben Wells (guitare), the band forged its path with a blend of southern-tinged riffs, blues bite and chorus lines built to stick. Their self-titled debut introduced Rain Wizard and Lonely Train; releases like Folklore and Superstition, Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea and Magic Mountain broadened the palette, shifting between heavier punch and a warm, road-honed groove.
On stage, Black Stone Cherry go straight to the point: rugged twin guitars, stacked harmonies and tight dynamics that swing from rootsy stomp to modern crunch. The set draws on recent chapters such as The Human Condition and Screamin’ at the Sky while nodding to the early burners that defined their sound. It’s a contemporary take on American hard rock anchored in tradition, carried by a rhythm section that locks in and hooks that hit without frills. A show built for volume, momentum and songs that live as well in clubs as in big rooms—delivered up close, at Music Hall in Aberdeen.
