Billy Ocean brings his blend of R&B, soul and pop with Caribbean inflections to Cardiff Castle, Cardiff, on 9 July 2026, with very special guest Marti Pellow. From early breakthroughs Love Really Hurts Without You and Red Light Spells Danger to the mid-80s run that gave Suddenly and Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run), Ocean has built a catalogue shaped by groove, melody and a warm, flexible voice. On stage he moves with ease between buoyant dance cuts and slow‑burn ballads, revisiting songs that have travelled across decades while keeping the feel precise and personal.
Marti Pellow, the voice of Wet Wet Wet, brings a repertoire that draws from chart pop, soul and jazz‑tinged projects as well as his work in musical theatre.
