Info
The Lathums bring their sharp, guitar-led indie to The Engine Shed in Lincoln on 2 July 2026. Formed in Wigan in 2018 from a college project, the quartet of Alex Moore (vocals, guitar), Scott Concepcion (guitars, keys), Ryan Durrans (drums) and Matty Murphy (bass) has built a catalogue that swings between taut indie grooves, stripped acoustic moments and brisk pop-rock bursts. Early DIY tracks like Artificial Screens and The Great Escape set the tone before a run of EPs and three albums: How Beautiful Life Can Be (2021), From Nothing to a Little Bit More (2023) and Matter Does Not Define (2025). On stage, their clean, chiming guitars and direct melodies keep things tight and unadorned, with choruses built to be sung back. The set digs across their releases, pairing newer cuts with the songs that first put them on the map. Along the way they’ve shared bills with Paul Weller, Blossoms and The Killers and hit festivals including Glastonbury, grounding a live show that leans on immediacy, momentum and a close-knit band dynamic.
