Jack Savoretti

Jack Savoretti brings his anglo-Italian songwriting to Connexin Live, Hull on 30 October 2026. Raised between London and the Lugano region, he writes at the crossroads of folk, acoustic pop and Italian canzone. On stage, his slightly husky voice meets a lean, percussive guitar style, with narratives that circle around ties, distance and belonging.

Across his albums, he shifts from intimate sketches to wider, more rhythmic arrangements: the early Between the Minds and Harder Than Easy marked out a stripped-back folk-pop line, while Written in Scars and the Rome-recorded Singing to Strangers opened the door to a more cinematic palette. Europiana leans into Mediterranean hues, and Miss Italia brings his roots to the surface, including a few songs in Italian. In Hull, expect a set that moves between close-up solo moments and fuller band textures, revisiting early tracks and recent material with quiet dynamics, a hint of soul and melodies built to stay.
