Info

Amy Macdonald brings her guitar-led folk rock to The Piece Hall, Halifax, on 18 June 2026. Raised near Glasgow and shaped by years of pub gigs, she’s built a catalogue where clear storytelling meets steady hooks. Expect a set that links Mr Rock & Roll and This Is the Life to The Human Demands and the recent Is This What You’ve Been Waiting For?, with that direct blend of acoustic drive and electric edge.

The Coral join with their mix of indie rock, psych shades and Merseybeat DNA. From early 2000s cuts to Coral Island and Sea of Mirrors, they balance bright jangle, drifting harmonies and a quietly oblique pop sense that has followed them across two decades.

Glasgow duo Saint PHNX add an alt-pop sound built on synth textures, tight drums and grounded, emotive refrains, moving between uplift and introspection. Nathan Evans rounds out the bill; first known for sea shanties such as Wellerman, he now leans into his own folk-pop writing, threading modern production with a Celtic tinge on tracks like Told You So and Catch You When You Fall.
