Florence Road

Florence Road bring their wired-and-warm indie to Limelight, Belfast, on 26 May 2026. The Bray, County Wicklow quartet — Lily Aron, Emma Brandon, Ailbhe Barry and Hannah Kelly — grew up together and shaped a sound where taut guitars meet vulnerable lyrics, threading indie rock with grunge grit and alternative pop melody. Fronted by Lily Aron, they write about anxiety, the contradictions of early adulthood and emotions laid bare, carried by melodies that keep a clear line through the distortion.

Their 2025 debut mixtape, Fall Back, crystallises this balance between tenderness and abrasion, alongside tracks like Heavy and Caterpillar and a streak of homemade videos. On stage, that palette flips from hush to surge: close harmonies and confessional verses tipping into fuzzed-out crescendos before dropping back into focus. The set at Limelight draws on Fall Back while opening space for sharper edges and fresh turns, keeping it raw and melodic in Belfast.
