Info

Glen Hansard heads to the Roundhouse in London on 23 May 2026. Co-founder of Dublin band The Frames in 1990, he forged a catalogue where folk storytelling meets rock pulse. The leap to wider attention came with the indie film Once (2006) alongside Markéta Irglová; Falling Slowly won the Oscar for Best Original Song in 2008 and later fed a Broadway adaptation. Since then he’s pursued a solo path with Rhythm and Repose, Didn’t He Ramble and This Wild Willing, moving between acoustic intimacy and full-band momentum. On stage, his lyric-driven writing and rough-edged guitar work keep the focus squarely on the song.

Alongside him, Courtney Marie Andrews brings a blend of folk, country and americana rooted in the DIY scenes of Phoenix and Seattle. After early releases, her trajectory sharpened with On My Page (2013), Honest Life (2016) and May Your Kindness Remain (2018), followed by Old Flowers (2020) and Loose Future (2022). Her songs favor uncluttered arrangements, pedal steel hues and narratives that circle relationships, doubt and distance, carried by a clear, expressive voice.
