Twisted Firestarter #6, the official Infest warm-up, lands at Rebellion, Manchester on 20 August 2026. At the top of the bill, Clan of Xymox deliver an exclusive UK show. Formed in the Netherlands in the early 80s around Ronny Moorings and first signed to 4AD, the band helped shape darkwave with a blend of cold guitars, melodic synths and driving electronics. From their self-titled debut and Medusa to later club-leaning phases and recent releases like Days of Black, Spider on the Wall and Limbo, they draw on four decades where gothic rock, synth-pop and atmospheric songwriting meet.

Massive Ego mark a return to the UK stage with a dark synth-pop and EBM mix. Dead Lights bring an electro-glam edge tailored for the dancefloor. Moth Slut channel an androgynous strain of post-punk and early goth, nodding to Virgin Prunes, early Christian Death and Bauhaus. From Bristol, Strange Futures lean into modern darkwave with a distinct vocal presence. Opening the night, Iamimperfect sets the pace with industrial-tinged electronics. A focused line-up built around textures, hooks and a steady pulse, perfect to set the tone for the festival weekend.
