Blaze Bayley « Iron Maiden Anniversary »

Blaze Bayley is a Metal Hall of Fame inductee and a singer-songwriter born on 29 May 1963 in Birmingham, England. He joined Iron Maiden, with whom he released two albums, The X Factor and Virtual XI, and toured worldwide between 1994 and 1999. He began his professional music career in Wolfsbane in 1984.

After leaving Iron Maiden, Blaze embarked on a solo career, releasing 14 studio albums, plus live albums, DVDs and compilations.

In recent years he has toured in the UK, Europe, North America and Latin America.

Since 2014 Blaze has worked with a settled backing band drawn from British melodic metal band Absolva: Christopher Appleton (lead guitar), Tom Atkinson (lead guitar), Luke Appleton (bass), Martin McNee (drums).

In 2024 he released the studio album Circle of Stone and toured to promote it. He also marked 30 years since Iron Maiden with his 30th Anniversary Iron Maiden shows.

In 2025 he marked the 25th anniversary of his first solo album, Silicon Messiah, with an anniversary edition and a UK and European tour. The setlist included songs from Silicon Messiah, Circle of Stone and Iron Maiden classics. He also performed 10 shows to mark the anniversary of The X Factor, playing the album in full in 10 countries and 10 cities.

On 23 October 2026 at 6:00 pm at Queens Hall, Nuneaton, Blaze Bayley presents Iron Maiden anniversary material. He continues Silicon Messiah anniversary shows in full, along with songs from The X Factor, Virtual XI and Best of the Beast.
