Lizz Wright brings her blend of jazz, soul and gospel to Cadogan Hall, London, on 15 November 2026. Raised in Georgia singing in church choirs, she forged a style that moves between spirituals, folk ballads and understated grooves. Since her debut Salt (2003), she has traced a path through Dreaming Wide Awake and The Orchard, the spiritually oriented Fellowship, the soul-leaning Freedom & Surrender and Grace, up to Shadow (2024). On stage, Wright favors acoustic textures, patient dynamics and close interplay with her band, letting melodies breathe and putting the lyric at the center. Her sets often combine original songs with carefully chosen reinterpretations from the American songbook, shaped by the South and the jazz tradition.
