Holywatr touches down in Manchester on 9 June 2026 at Rebellion Manchester. Emerging from the 2020s wave that blurs nu metal, emo and hardcore, the project shapes a rough yet melodic sound: low-tuned guitars, heavy drums, and a voice that shifts from introspective lines to tense, abrasive bursts. There are traces of late-90s and 2000s alternative metal in the textures, but the writing sits firmly in today’s emo culture and internet-born scenes.

On stage, Holywatr leans into contrast. Verses pull back, almost whispered, before choruses surge with layered distortion and direct, memorable refrains. Breakdowns hit hard, while atmospheric passages open space between waves of intensity. The set gravitates around singles like Without U, Loose Ends, Fade and Nail Polish, songs that circle vulnerability, relationships and inner tension.
