On 1 December 2026, MT Jones comes to the Privatclub in Berlin. The singer-songwriter from Liverpool combines the warmth of the soul era of the 1960s and 1970s with the texture of modern R&B and jazzy hues. His songs revolve around relationships, doubt and everyday feelings, carried by live instrumentation: mellow guitars, pointed horn lines and a midtempo rhythm section. At the center is a voice that shifts between vulnerability and strength.
Having started as a street musician in Chester and moved on through early club shows, Jones has since performed across the UK, Europe and the USA, including sets at SXSW in Austin and a tour with St. Paul & The Broken Bones. On stage he stays close to the core of his songs: organic, dynamic and song-focused. Expect a set that blends singles like 'Punchin', 'Why I Cry' and 'I Don’t Understand' with new material, continuing the soul-tradition sound in a contemporary way.
