Mariza

Mariza returns to Marseille on January 9, 2027, at Le Silo to present Amor, her new album. Conceived with a range of composers, producers and musicians from different generations, this project offers a contemporary sound without renouncing its fado roots. Each track explores a nuance of the emotion that gives the album its title, from impulse to fragility, with writing that favors clarity and subtlety.

On stage, the singer places fado in the present: a broad voice, precise phrasing and a sense of storytelling, supported by orchestrations that converse with the Portuguese guitar as much as with broader sonic textures. Amor gains its full depth and naturally interweaves with standout songs from her repertoire. From Fado em Mim to her reinterpretations of Amália Rodrigues, this concert forges connections between tradition and modernity, between Lisbon and the Mediterranean influences that have shaped her path. It is presented as a new chapter, combining new material and signature pieces.
