Info
On 26 November 2026, Lilly Wood and The Prick will be performing at the Salle Polyvalente, Place de Hercé in Laval. Formed in 2006, the duo brings together Nili Hadida’s clear, direct voice and Benjamin Cotto’s guitar. Spotted in 2009 with “Down the Drain,” they released the following year Invincible Friends, a debut album that immediately established them on the French pop-folk scene and earned them a Victoire de la Musique award in 2011 (Audience Revelation). Since then, they have been appearing on stages and at festivals, from Main Square to theatre tours, and continued the journey with The Fight, a record that asserts a more nervy sound without abandoning the melodic drive of their early work.
On stage, Lilly Wood and The Prick opts for the obvious: catchy English choruses, supple guitars, minimal but effective rhythms, and a way of building songs without showiness. Somewhere between stripped-down folk and luminous pop, the set presents songs that made the duo known alongside more recent material, carried by a restrained energy and a direct presence. In Laval, the group returns to the essentials: songs shaped for live performance, without artifice, with the blend of sensitivity and tension that has followed them since their beginnings.
