Info
On November 11, 2026 at Edmonton EXPO Centre in Edmonton, the Hometown Heroes Tour brings together two fixtures of Canadian country: Dean Brody and The Reklaws.
Dean Brody, born in Smithers and raised in Jaffray, BC, has shaped a catalog that anchors everyday storytelling in acoustic folk textures and contemporary country production. Since his 2009 debut and the breakout single Brothers, he’s traced a path through Trail in Life, Dirt, Crop Circles, Gypsy Road and Beautiful Freakshow, followed by the Black Sheep EP, then Boys and Right Round Here. Clear melodies, guitar-led arrangements and rural themes set the tone, while his route runs between writing in Nashville, Canadian radio and steady touring, alongside collaborations with The Reklaws, Jade Eagleson and Mickey Guyton.
The Reklaws, the sibling duo of Stuart and Jenna Walker from North Dumfries, Ontario, balance country-pop hooks with a nod to neo-traditional sounds. From the EPs Long Live the Night and Feels Like That to the albums Freshman Year, Sophomore Slump and Good Ol’ Days, they’ve refined a duet dynamic built for big stages. Their collaborations map the current scene: Can’t Help Myself with Dean Brody, What the Truck with Sacha, 11 Beers with Jake Owen and Honky Tonkin’ About with Drake Milligan.
Together on this tour, they line up a night that moves between Brody’s songwriter lens and the duo’s tight harmonies, with room for shared cuts drawn from their joint tracks.
