Elder Island

Elder Island will be in Montreal on October 5, 2026, at Théâtre Fairmount. Hailing from Bristol, the trio of Katy Sargent, Luke Thornton and David Havard moves between indie pop and electronica, with songwriting that plays on loops, airy textures and firmly anchored basslines. On stage, Sargent’s voice remains central, carried by supple rhythms, synths that evolve in layered passages and a guitar that locks into the groove. The set alternates downtempo respites with more dance‑oriented surges, reflecting their connection to the dancefloor and a taste for minimalist yet effective arrangements.
