Schrotthagen Neue Welt Tour

With Neue Welt, Schrotthagen open the next chapter — as an album and as a tour. Behind the name is the German duo of film composer Dieter Schleip and producer Giovanni Berg, who charge their techno with dramatic sensibility, trance-adjacent textures and forceful grooves. What they describe as cinematic techno becomes the core of the show on stage: a tension arc like in cinema, carried by a set that swings between melodies, atmospheres and driving kicks.

For the Neue Welt tour, Schrotthagen are developing a live experience in which image and sound propel each other. The stage design reacts in real time to the music, the visuals behave like an additional instrument and map spaces in which the tracks grow, tilt and regain momentum. From this friction a hybrid world emerges — less a motif than a state: immediate, physical, focused.

Neue Welt can be experienced on 9 October 2026 at Komplex 457 in Zurich. Schrotthagen bring their material into a space that vibrates between club energy and cinematic storytelling, where it unfolds its full effect.
