On July 4, 2026, Boris Brejcha will bring his High‑Tech Minimal to Zoa City at the Dolder Kunsteisbahn in Zurich. Raised in Ludwigshafen, the producer and DJ has honed his sound since the 2000s between repetitive techno structures, punchy basslines and synthetic melodies shaped by trance and progressive house. On stage his Venetian‑mask look has become a trademark; in the studio long, evolving arrangements define his releases — from early Harthouse outings to Space Diver (2020) and Never Stop Dancing (2021). In 2015 he founded the label Fckng Serious, a base for his own releases and a framework for sets designed clearly for large floors.
Ann Clue opens the evening with a darker, tightly organized approach that sits between melodic techno, minimal and progressive arcs of tension. Closely linked to Fckng Serious, the German DJ and producer has been touring clubs and festivals for years, favoring hypnotic grooves, precise drums and a steady, unshowy build. With tracks like Trip (2018) and a focus on stringency rather than flash, she provides the counterpoint to Brejcha’s cosmos — concentrated, straightforward and well suited to Zoa City’s open‑air energy.
