On 1 August 2026 the Kiesgrube in Neuss kicks off The Weekender Day 1 — with Hugel center stage. The DJ and producer from Marseille has evolved from dance-pop beginnings to a distinct house and tech-house signature, marked by heavy percussion and Latin hooks. Key milestones: “I Believe I’m Fine” with Robin Schulz, the “Bella Ciao” remix for El Profesor, the edgy “WTF” with Amber Van Day, and “Morenita” with Cumbiafrica. In his sets Hugel combines vocals, punchy bass and functional structures into grooves aimed squarely at the dancefloor.
Sebastian Konrad, Nicole da Silva and Isa Roos complete the line-up. Three DJs who put their own stamp on house, tech house and rhythm-driven club tools, build precise transitions and maintain the flow. Together with Hugel they create a day that unapologetically puts the groove front and center, with hooks, breaks and warm basslines that leave enough space for the floor to breathe. Stage is set for The Weekender Day 1 at the Kiesgrube, Neuss.
