Info

Creeper bring their dark, melodic punk and theatrical rock to Whelan’s, Dublin, on 30 April 2026. Formed in Southampton in 2014 around vocalist Will Gould and guitarist Ian Miles, the band blends punk urgency with goth shades and a taste for storytelling, first sketched across early EPs (Creeper, The Callous Heart, The Stranger) and sharpened on their debut album Eternity, in Your Arms in 2017. They broadened the palette on Sex, Death & the Infinite Void in 2020, leaning into dramatic rock and slower, brooding ballads, then pushed the concept further with 2023’s Sanguivore, steeped in vampiric imagery, pop-ready refrains and guitars nodding to classic hard rock.

On stage, Creeper treat the set like chapters of a narrative: costumes, stage elements and a close rapport with the crowd carry the thread from quick, hook-driven tracks to shadowy, atmospheric cuts. The Whelan’s date is set to map their catalogue’s arc, linking the intensity of the EP era with the broader horizons of the last two records, while keeping the focus on concise songwriting and a strong visual identity.
