Erin Kinsey

Texas-born singer and songwriter Erin Kinsey plays The Academy in Dublin on 18 August 2026. Rooted in modern country with a pop edge, she started writing at 11 and sharpened her craft after moving to Nashville. Her songs move between contemporary country, pop-country and intimate ballads, with a clear focus on storytelling and accessible melodies. Signing to RECORDS Nashville, in partnership with Sony Music, marked a step in 2021, followed by the EP 40 East in 2022. Since then, Kinsey has continued to shape a style that blends radio-ready formats with autobiographical writing, exploring themes of adolescence, relationships and the transition into adulthood. On stage, she shifts from guitar-driven country-pop to quieter singer-songwriter moments, keeping the spotlight on lyrics and melody. Alongside her own work, Kinsey also writes for others, with songs recorded by artists such as Dolly Parton, Rita Wilson, Monica and Sara Evans.
